A Preview of Waltham Forest Cello Fest No. 3

We were delightred yesterday, Monday May 31st, to have the privilege of interviewing Frantisek Brikcius, the organiser of the forthcoming Third Waltham Forest Cello Fest. When he is not travelling the world performing and promoting the classical Cello, Mr Brikcius is a permanent Waltham Forest Resident running year-round tuition and cello events for enthusiasts and students of the instrument. "Cello Fest" is the term that he uses generically to refer to all his musical activities, of which the annual Waltham Forest Cello Fest is only one. It begins this year on Sat, 5th June 2021 and continues on the Sunday, with events both live and online scheduled from 10.00 am through to 9.00 pm. Everything that follows is aimed at explaining exactly what Cello Fest is and does. Many of the events are free but some, such as personal tuition, incur a small fee.

Mr Brikcius is a skilful and dedicated user of social media in promoting Cello Fest and everything cello related, and when you have watched the overview provided by the Forest Radio interview you will be able to find all the details you could possibly want by visiting these links:
