As well as the set from our old friend John Arthur Hewson we have included the sets from Boycie (previously known as "Boykes") and Ivor Game.

John Arthur Hewson

John Arthur (Hewson) is a local singer/songwriter/musician and writer of adult and children's books. He has a fairly large website at where you can find out more and watch a short film about him that was made by a Chinese friend Peilin Li.

You will also find details of what he calls his "Quirky Songs", which are available on five past CDs, with sample tracks playable on the page.

We interviewed John and his partner Maggie Houlihan in 2021.

Ivor Game

Ivor Game is a self produced Singer/Songwriter from just outside London, who has over the years toured his acoustic shows across England and beyond, to Los Angeles, Nashville, parts of Europe and Ireland.

You can listen to many of his CD ttracks by visiting his Soundcloud channel and watch many of his music videos by visiting his personal website.

Moykal O'Bui has been making music since 1986 and putting this out via his "label" Boysterous Sounds They play original acoustic pop/ballads.Boycey is the band name moniker he started using in 2002. They released a single that year and an EP a few years later. In 2010 they released their debut album "Life Leaks A Hole" in 2010. They followed this up with 2 further singles, an EP, compilation album and, most recently, their double A side single "To The Girl/Her Silent Tears" which was released at the end of last year. Boycey are a three-piece semi-acoustic band who play a mix of original uptempo originals and mid-paced ballads. Moykal is the songwriter and front man, playing acoustic guitar and singing. Pat Rowles plays bass and sings backing vocals. Mark Thorne plays keyboards and sings backing vocals. They plan to release a batch of singles leading up to their second album which should be out next year. Moyk's songs are at times influenced by his Donegal heritage with themes about love, loss, pleasant/unsavoury characters, life's encounters, the class system, eating too much, hair, Merton, the music business and youth.
