On Saturday 22nd of June Waltham Forest Extinction Rebellion held a rally in Walthamstow's town square. The event was cheerful, friendly and well-attended, the originally planned three hours being extended to six. The weather was truly beautiful – bright sunshine all day but with just enough breeze to keep the heat from becoming intolerable. It was a great family event, with lots of activities for children and various craft stalls and political stalls for the adults.
