Blackhorse Arts, a professional theatre group working with people in the Waltham Forest community, ran a competition to find three new Waltham Forest-based writers to whom they would offer masterclasses led by professional Waltham Forest playwrights, directors and producers, and support them to create what in fact became four short plays that were professionally directed and performed at the Walthamstow Garden Party on the 13th & 14th of July 2019.

I (David) spoke to the Director, Derek Bond, and attended the performances on Sunday 14th in the Earthly Paradise Tent at the event in Lloyd Park.
